Catering Arrangements

Oldfield School uses a Cashless Catering System which is operated by the use of biometric data allowing students to purchase food from both the canteen and the snack shack using their thumbs. Money can be paid onto their accounts in two ways – either via the re-evaluation unit in the main corridor (where students can put cash onto their account) or via ParentPay.

The food service at Oldfield is run by husband and wife team David Hemmings and Karen Thomson. They are both highly experienced in their fields and before working here ran a successful Gastro Pub in Bath.  They brought their appreciation of good food to the school with them and believe in freshly produced meals and quality that is good enough for anyone. To that end the hot food is cooked fresh and the rolls are baked in the kitchen every day.  They firmly believe that the children deserve as good as they can possibly get – for a great price!!

Free School Meals

If your child is eligible for Free School Meals, they will receive a free school meal allowance of £2.60 each day on their accounts so no-one will be able to distinguish them from any other child buying their lunch.
